About ECOEDGE
ECOEDGE is a network of passionate environmentally minded people who support each other to achieve greater outcomes by working collaboratively in Environmental/Sustainability Education in schools and communities.
Members of ECOEDGE include professional environmental educators, teachers, and other interested members of the public in the Hunter, Port Stephens and Lake Macquarie area. Individuals from outside this area are, of course, warmly welcomed.
We predominantly work with students and teachers, because we believe that schools are the hub of any great community.
ECOEDGE was established almost twenty years ago and meets informally up to four times a year with the meeting content nominated by members. Meetings are a great opportunity to learn through sharing and include a range of topics including; upcoming events, learning opportunities, funding, resources and new innovations. Meetings are generally held in a central location on a weekday evening from 3.30-5.30pm.
